About

Aggressive daily trader that rides big swings in tech/semis. It buys strength or bounces when signals are favorable, hedges with volatility when stocks look overheated, and leans defensive if bonds/commodities warn of trouble.
NutHow it works
It’s a daily switch that usually holds one ETF. It first asks: is the market trending up or down, and are stocks overbought or oversold? It uses simple gauges: RSI (a 0–100 “hot/cold” score), moving averages (trend), and bond/commodity clues (are rates rising or falling?). When stocks are very hot, it buys volatility (UVXY). When they’re very cold, it buys 3x tech/semis if bonds say “okay,” or inverse ETFs if not.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~58.6% annualized return vs SPY ~21.9%, alpha ~0.41, Calmar ~1.18. Higher upside with adaptive hedges, but drawdowns can reach ~50%. Best for investors with high risk tolerance seeking tech leadership.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
