About

Daily RSI/momentum-based rotation among QQQ, TQQQ, SH, SPY, SMH, and SVXY to chase Nasdaq moves with hedges; uses a 200-day trend filter; highly aggressive, levered exposure with daily rebalancing.
NutHow it works
What RSI is: think of it as a momentum gauge – a number that helps estimate whether an asset has been moving up or down too fast. The strategy looks at several ETFs (such as QQQ, TQQQ, SPY, SH, SVXY, SMH) and checks their momentum using a 10-day RSI. It also checks whether the price is above a long-term trend (roughly a 200-day moving average) to confirm that an upward trend might still be in place. Based on these momentum and trend signals, the strategy picks a single asset to own that day (it aims to invest all capital into that chosen ETF). The candidate assets include Nasdaq exposure (QQQ), a 3x leveraged Nasdaq product (TQQQ), a short/S&P hedge (SH), or other related ETFs like SPY, SMH, or SVXY depending on which one looks strongest on the signals. The plan is to rebalance daily, so the chosen asset can change from day to day. This approach can be very aggressive because it uses leverage and levered hedges, which can magnify both gains and losses. It does not use a traditional diversified mix; instead it rotates into the asset that currently shows the most favorable momentum according to the built-in rules.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this RSI-based Nasdaq rotation targets higher upside and strong risk-adjusted results versus the S&P 500, using trend-confirmed momentum and daily rebalancing. Note: it carries higher drawdown risk in volatile markets.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
