About

A daily, rules‑based switcher: chase strong tech with 3x ETFs (TQQQ/SOXL/TECL) when trends are good; if markets overheat or drop, rotate fast into hedges (short tech, VXX) or T‑bills/BTAL. Uses RSI, moving averages, and Treasury/commodity trends. Very aggressive.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks trend and “heat” (RSI = a speedometer of recent moves; >~70 hot/overbought, <~30 washed out). If stocks look healthy, it rides high‑octane funds like TQQQ (3x big‑tech Nasdaq), SOXL (3x semis), or TECL (3x tech). If momentum cracks or volatility jumps, it flips to defenses: SQQQ/SOXS (short tech), VXX (volatility), TMF/TMV (3x long/short Treasuries), or T‑bills SHY/BIL or BTAL. Stock/bond and commodity trends steer which side to favor. High risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: Sharpe 2.07, Calmar 12, ~+104%/yr vs SPY -1.11% with 8.67% drawdown. Leveraged tech exposure with hedges gives far stronger risk-adjusted growth than the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
