zoop's TQQQ FOR THE LONG TERM
Today’s Change

A symphony is an automated trading strategy — Learn more about symphonies here

About

Daily switch between a 3x Nasdaq fund (TQQQ) and an inverse S&P fund (SH) using extreme “hot/cold” readings (RSI) and 200/20‑day trends. Mostly long TQQQ; flips to SH when markets look overheated or when trends weaken.
NutHow it works
Each day it picks one fund: TQQQ (aims for 3x the Nasdaq‑100’s daily move) or SH (rises when the S&P 500 falls). It buys TQQQ when markets look washed‑out (very low RSI = 0–100 “hot/cold” score). It uses SH when many areas look red‑hot (very high RSI). Otherwise: if the S&P 500 is above its 200‑day average, hold TQQQ. If below: buy TQQQ only if deeply oversold; else use SH when the Nasdaq is below its 20‑day average.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Calmar ~69, Sharpe ~3.47, max drawdown ~9.44%, annualized return ~652% vs SPY. Daily 3x Nasdaq / inverse S&P timing targets higher upside with disciplined risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
