About

A tech dip‑buyer using TQQQ with an automatic safety switch. It adds TQQQ when markets are weak and shifts to cash/hedges (BIL, SH, GLD, TLT, XLU) when overheated, guided by RSI and 200‑day trends, blending across four timeframes; rebalanced daily.
NutHow it works
It buys a tech‑heavy fund (TQQQ) on market “dips” and moves to a safety asset when things look “too hot.” It judges hot/cold with a 0–100 heat gauge of recent moves (RSI) on the Nasdaq, S&P 500, and semiconductors. If very weak: 100% TQQQ. If very hot: 100% in safety (cash/T‑Bills, an S&P‑hedge, gold, Treasuries, or utilities). Otherwise it blends TQQQ with safety using four lookbacks and is stricter in downtrends. Rebalances daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets about 27.5% annualized return vs 18.4% for the S&P, with a Calmar ratio of 2.62 and strong risk-adjusted performance. It tolerates higher drawdowns (~10.5%) for greater upside via a dynamic tech-dip safety switch.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
