About

A simple buy‑the‑dip rotation: each day, pick whichever of QQQ, XLP, or VBF has dropped most recently (by a short‑term RSI score), put money there and hold cash for the rest. Adding QQQ can boost returns but makes drawdowns deeper vs. using only XLP+VBF.
NutHow it works
Each day it looks at three funds—QQQ (big tech stocks), XLP (everyday‑goods companies), and VBF (investment‑grade bonds). It uses a quick 0–100 score of recent moves (RSI): low means it just fell. It buys the one with the lowest score (the recent “dip”) and keeps the rest in cash. Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: higher risk-adjusted return with lower drawdown versus the S&P 500. Annualized return 37.3% vs 28.0%; Sharpe 2.81 vs 2.37; beta 0.39; max drawdown 4.57% vs 5.07%. Daily dip-rotation with cash cushion.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
