About

Daily mean‑reversion using QQQ’s 10‑day RSI: very hot → VXX (volatility); very cold → TQQQ (3× tech); otherwise → the more oversold of staples (XLP) or 10‑yr corporate bonds (IGLB). Rebalanced daily; uses risky instruments.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks a 10‑day RSI on QQQ (Nasdaq‑100; big tech). RSI is a quick “hot/cold” score: high = stretched up, low = beaten down. If RSI > 79 (very hot), it buys VXX, which tends to rise when stocks fall. If RSI ≤ 28 (very cold), it buys TQQQ (a 3× QQQ). Otherwise it buys whichever looks more beaten‑up between XLP (consumer‑staples stocks) and IGLB (10‑yr investment‑grade corporate bonds). Rebalanced daily. Note: TQQQ and VXX are very risky.
CheckmarkValue prop
RSI-driven mean reversion with low SPY beta (~0.24). Out-of-sample Sharpe ~0.95, Calmar ~1.38, and ~9.95% annualized return. Diversifies into VXX/TQQQ/XLP/IGLB for steadier, downside-aware returns that complement the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
