About

A very aggressive, daily “buy the dip or take cover” switch. It rotates into one 3× bull ETF (often tech/Nasdaq/semis/S&P) on oversold signals, and flips to hedges (UVXY, TMF/TMV, or inverse ETFs) when markets overheat or trends turn. High risk.
NutHow it works
Daily it checks trend and “heat.” Trend: price vs recent average. Heat: RSI (0–100; <30 = washed‑out, >80 = overheated). If stocks are trending up and a benchmark (QQQ/XLK/SMH/SPY) looks washed‑out, it buys one 3× bull ETF (often TQQQ/TECL/SOXL/SPXL). If things look overheated/weak, it flips to protection: UVXY (fear), 3× bear ETFs (SQQQ/SOXS/SPXS) or bonds (TMF if rates fall, TMV if rates rise).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~132% annualized vs SPY ~20%, Sharpe 1.36 vs 1.03, Calmar 2.69. Delivers strong risk-adjusted upside through tactical trend/RSI rotation with hedges. Higher drawdown (~49% vs 16%), for aggressive, tactical investors.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
