About

Daily, rules-based leveraged ETF strategy. Reads fear and the bond trend to switch among 3x tech/Nasdaq/semis/S&P bulls, their 3x inverse bears, or Treasuries/cash. Buys big dips (low RSI), fades overheated moves (high RSI).
NutHow it works
It’s a daily, rules-based trader. First it checks fear: if volatility spikes (UVXY’s RSI—think “too hot/too cold”—is very high), it hedges with VXX. Next it reads the interest‑rate trend (TLT) and stock/commodity backdrops to label markets risk‑on or risk‑off. Then it buys deep dips in 3x bulls (TQQQ/TECL/SOXL/UPRO) when RSIs are low, flips to 3x inverse bears (SQQQ/TECS/SOXS/SPXS) when RSIs are high, or parks in Treasuries (TMF/TMV) or cash‑like (BIL/SHY). It picks 1 ETF from small baskets by recent returns. Note: 2–3x ETFs are high risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy aims for big upside via 3x bulls with hedges, posting ~68% annualized return vs ~29% for the S&P, Calmar ~1.39. Higher drawdowns exist, but regime-aware risk controls seek capital protection.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
