About

Aggressive, daily strategy. Default: long SOXL (3x semiconductors). When markets look overheated, flip to VXX (volatility). In weak trends, may use SQQQ (3x inverse Nasdaq) or BSV (bonds). Uses a short‑term “hot/cold” gauge to time switches. Very high risk.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks if a fast tech fund (TQQQ) is above its long‑term trend. If yes, it usually holds SOXL (a 3x semiconductor fund). But if many broad market funds look overheated, it flips into VXX (a volatility fund). If TQQQ is below trend, it still buys SOXL on deep selloffs; otherwise it may pick SQQQ (3x inverse Nasdaq) or BSV (short‑term bonds). RSI = a short‑term hot/cold meter.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~133% annualized return vs SPY ~20%, Calmar ~3.55, Sharpe ~1.39. Strong risk-adjusted upside; expect drawdowns up to ~38%. Leveraged semiconductor exposure with hedges aims to capture rallies while protecting capital.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
