About

Daily, all‑in switcher: buys 3× tech/market funds on dips, flips to a volatility trade when markets look overheated, otherwise rides short‑term gold strength or sits in defensive staples/bonds. Very high risk.
NutHow it works
Daily checks. RSI (0–100 over 10 days): low = recently sold off, high = overheated. If SMH (semiconductors), QQQ (Nasdaq‑100), or SPY (S&P 500) are washed out, it buys 3× bull funds SOXL, TQQQ, or UPRO. If many areas look overheated, it buys UVXY, a volatility fund that jumps when stocks drop. Otherwise, if GLD > its 10‑day average it buys UGL (2× gold); if not, it holds XLP (consumer staples) or VBF (bond fund), whichever looks weaker.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample Sharpe 1.66 vs SPY 1.39; Calmar 6.66; positive alpha ~1%; negative beta. Dynamic leveraged tech with volatility hedge and gold/staples/bonds offers higher risk-adjusted returns and diversification vs the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
