About

Daily contrarian swing trade: buy 3× long semiconductors after sharp selloffs, flip to 3× inverse semiconductors after overheated runs; otherwise hold high‑yield option‑income funds. Concentrated and very high risk.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks a 10‑day “speedometer” (RSI; 0–100: low=washed‑out, high=overheated) on major funds like SMH (semis), QQQ (Nasdaq‑100), and SPY (S&P 500). If very low, it buys SOXL (about 3× UP semiconductors). If very high, it buys SOXS (about 3× DOWN semiconductors). If neither, it holds YMAG and YMAX (high‑yield option‑income funds tied to big tech), sizing by recent calmness. Rebalances daily; very high risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: this high-risk, contrarian semis strategy underperforms the S&P, with a -44% annualized return and ~20% max drawdown (Calmar negative). It's for bold investors seeking diversification, not a core S&P replacement.
