About

Daily, rules‑based rotation that toggles between offense (3x tech/semis like TQQQ, SOXL) and defense (Treasuries TMF/TMV, inverse ETFs, SHY, PDBC). Driven by bond trends and stress gauges. Very aggressive; for traders, not buy‑and‑hold.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks: 1) stress (UVXY) using a hot/cold gauge (RSI). 2) interest‑rate trend via TLT using average‑price lines (moving averages). 3) stocks vs commodities. If calm and rates help growth, it buys the strongest 3x tech/semis fund (TECL, TQQQ, SOXL). If stress or weakness appears, it shifts to Treasuries (TMF/TMV), inverse ETFs (SQQQ, SOXS, SPXS), or cash‑like bonds (SHY). It may use PDBC for commodities to avoid K‑1.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe 3.33 vs S&P 0.68; alpha ~2.12%; Calmar ~31. Strong risk-adjusted gains and long-run efficiency. Drawdowns can rise in stress; ideal for active traders seeking big upside with disciplined risk management.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
