About

A daily, rules-based, single-ETF rotation. It rides strong tech/Nasdaq/semis with 3x ETFs in uptrends, shifts to inverse ETFs, Treasuries (TMF/TMV), cash-like bonds, or VXX during stress. Uses simple trend/“hot-cold” gauges and avoids K‑1 via PDBC.
NutHow it works
Each day it picks one ETF based on simple gauges of trend and stress: - Trend: moving averages (average prices) to tell uptrend vs downtrend. - Hot/Cold: RSI (0–100) to spot “overheated” or “washed out.” - Recent returns: who’s leading over 5–7 days. It rides 3x tech/Nasdaq/semis in uptrends, flips to inverse ETFs, Treasuries (TMF/TMV), cash‑like bonds (SHY/BIL), or VXX when stress hits. Uses PDBC for commodities to avoid K‑1.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample Sharpe ~3.33 vs SPY ~0.68, alpha ~2.12, Calmar ~31.3. A daily, rules-based rotation into growth leaders with hedges seeks higher risk-adjusted returns than the S&P—though stress periods can bring larger drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
