About
A fast-moving strategy that usually owns tech-heavy QQQ in strong markets, but shifts into a volatility fund, an inverse Nasdaq fund, or long Treasury bonds when conditions look risky.
This strategy checks the market every day. If the broad U.S. market (SPY) is above its 200-day average, it usually owns QQQ, which tracks the big non-bank Nasdaq companies and is heavy in tech. If stocks look overheated, it switches to VIXY, a fear/volatility fund.
If the market is below that long-term trend line, it first looks for a quick rebound opportunity in QQQ or SPY. If not, it gets defensive: it may buy PSQ, which rises when the Nasdaq falls, or TLT, a long-term Treasury bond fund, choosing whichever looks stronger.
Out-of-sample return 28.82% vs SPY 26.69%, with Calmar ~2.36. In strong markets it targets tech leaders, and it hedges with VIXY/PSQ/TLT to protect during turbulence—aiming for higher long-run growth with disciplined risk management.
