An aggressive market-timing strategy that usually bets on semiconductors with leverage, switches to a volatility hedge when markets look too hot, and sometimes moves to inverse Nasdaq or short bonds in weaker markets.

This strategy is mostly a high-conviction bet on semiconductor stocks through SOXL, a very aggressive fund. It first asks: is tech in a healthy long-term uptrend? If yes, it holds SOXL unless many market areas look overheated, in which case it switches to VXX, a fear/volatility fund. If the long-term trend looks weak, it still buys SOXL after sharp pullbacks. Only when weakness continues does it turn defensive, choosing either SQQQ (a bet against the Nasdaq) or BSV (short-term bonds).
