This strategy checks the market every day and always picks one main position. If semiconductor, Nasdaq, or S&P 500 stocks have fallen hard very recently, it buys extra-aggressive funds that bet on a rebound. If many parts of the market look too hot after a sharp run-up, it switches into VXX, a product that usually benefits when fear and volatility jump. Otherwise, it owns a global stock fund when the U.S. market trend is healthy, or shifts to defensive stocks or bonds when the trend is weak.
