About

Daily tactical plan: buy SOXL after sharp drops, switch to UVXY when markets look overheated, else ride the uptrend with SOXL or sit in T‑bills. Uses a simple 0–100 “heat gauge” (RSI) and a 200‑day trend check. High risk due to leverage.
NutHow it works
Each day it reads a “heat gauge” called RSI (0–100; low=cold/oversold, high=hot/overbought). If RSIs for semis/tech/market are very low, it buys SOXL (a 3× semiconductor fund) to catch rebounds. If many RSIs are very high, it buys UVXY (a 2× fear/volatility fund). If neither, but the S&P 500 is above its 200‑day average (uptrend), it buys SOXL. Otherwise it parks in BIL (T‑bills). Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe ~1.34, Calmar ~3.26, and annualized return ~122.5% vs SPY ~19.9%. A rules-based, levered semis strategy with a volatility hedge; bigger upside and higher drawdowns (~37.6%) in stress—best for risk-tolerant investors seeking outsized growth.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
