About

A daily high‑octane switcher: buy 3× bull funds after sharp drops, buy volatility (UVXY) when markets look overheated, otherwise hold 2× Nasdaq in uptrends or T‑bills in downtrends. Very risky; expect big swings and frequent trades.
NutHow it works
Every day it checks a short-term “heat” score (0–100) of recent price moves. If semiconductors look washed out, it buys SOXL (3× semis). Else if Nasdaq is washed out, it buys TQQQ (3× Nasdaq). Else if the S&P 500 is washed out, it buys UPRO (3× S&P). If markets look too hot across several sectors, it switches to UVXY (a play on market volatility). If none of that triggers, it rides the uptrend with QLD (2× Nasdaq) when the S&P 500 is above its long-term trend; otherwise it parks in T‑bills (BIL). This is very aggressive and can swing a lot.
CheckmarkValue prop
Disciplined, rules-based 2x/3x tactical strategy with volatility timing and trend filters. Out-of-sample Calmar ≈0.65 and Sharpe ≈0.46 show meaningful risk-adjusted returns and diversification versus the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
