About

Daily switch: if fear is surging, short the S&P 500 via SPXU. Otherwise, hold the two least‑volatile YieldMax option‑income funds tied to Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, and AMD. Tech‑heavy, high risk, frequent trading.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks a “fear gauge” (VIXM). Using a 40‑day RSI (a 0–100 speedometer of recent moves), if fear is surging (RSI > 69) it buys SPXU, a fund built to rise ~3% when the S&P 500 falls 1% (and drop when it rises). Otherwise it splits money equally into the two calmest of four YieldMax funds (APLY, MSFO, NVDY, AMDY) that seek income by selling options on Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, and AMD. Rebalanced daily; tech/semis tilt.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~20.8% annualized vs SPY ~23.4%, yet with lower beta ~0.86 and Calmar ~0.95 - risk-adjusted growth plus built-in hedging via SPXU and tech-income exposure, less rate-sensitive than the S&P.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
