About
Monthly momentum pick among four YieldMax option-income ETFs tied to AAPL, MSFT, NVDA, or TSLA; invest 100% in the top 10-day performer each month, relying on option income. High tech concentration and momentum risk.
- You have four candidate ETFs: APLY (AAPL-focused), MSFO (MSFT-focused), NVDY (NVDA-focused), and TSLY (TSLA-focused).
- Each month, the system considers all four and gives them equal initial treatment (cash-equal step).
- It then ranks them by a momentum metric called moving-average-return over the last 10 periods (roughly the last 10 trading days).
- The ETF with the highest 10-day momentum is selected (top 1).
- All cash is then allocated to that single ETF (you end up with 100% in that one).
- This process repeats every month, potentially switching the sole holding to a different ETF if its momentum becomes the top.
- The underlying YieldMax ETFs aim to generate income by selling call options on the stocks they track; this can provide regular income but may limit upside and behave differently from pure stock investing, especially in volatile markets.
Out-of-sample edge: 54.3% annualized return vs 21.7% for the S&P, Calmar ~1.22. Momentum picks one of four tech YieldMax ETFs each month, earning income via options - high upside, but higher drawdowns.
