About

A rules-based, high-risk strategy that swings between leveraged Nasdaq (long or short) and leveraged Treasuries (long or short). It buys sharp Tech dips/pops; otherwise it blends three simple bond/defensive signals to choose Nasdaq vs Treasuries.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks simple “heat” gauges (RSI = 0–100: low=oversold, high=hot). 1) If Tech (XLK) is deeply oversold (10‑day RSI<29) it buys QLD (2x Nasdaq). If Tech is very hot (RSI>80) it buys QID (‑2x Nasdaq). 2) Otherwise it splits across 3 rules: (a) Bond dip/momentum → TMF/TYD/TYO, (b) Tech vs Utilities → QLD or TYD, (c) Bond vs short‑S&P stress → TYO or QLD. Trades only when signals flip.
CheckmarkValue prop
Structured, rule-based rotation between leveraged Nasdaq (QLD/QID) and leveraged Treasuries (TMF/TYD/TYO) using RSI signals. OOS return ~18.6% with ~25.6% max drawdown and Calmar ~0.73—offers distinct risk-adjusted exposure and regime diversification vs. the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
