About

A daily, tech-only switch: hold XLK (long tech) when trend is up and momentum isn’t overheated; switch to REW (-2x inverse tech) when tech looks hot or trend weakens. Uses moving averages for trend and an RSI “speedometer” for overheating.
NutHow it works
XLK = a fund of big U.S. tech stocks (heavy Apple, Microsoft, NVIDIA). REW = a fund that tries to move about -2x tech daily (up when tech falls). RSI = a speedometer of recent ups vs downs; high=hot, low=weak. Moving averages = average price over X days. Each day it checks long/medium/short trend. In strong uptrends it holds XLK unless RSI is very hot; in weak/downtrends it more often holds REW. Always 100% in one or the other.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~17.35% annualized return vs 15.41% S&P, with solid risk controls (Calmar ~0.68; Sharpe ~0.67). Tech-only, trend+RSI strategy targeting higher upside, but with larger drawdowns (~25.66% vs 18.76%).
