About

A rules-based switcher: usually holds the stronger of XLK (big-tech) or KMLM (managed futures) by short-term strength, but in extremes flips contrarian—SOXL after sharp weakness, UVIX after strong rallies.
NutHow it works
It checks recent 10‑day moves in two funds: XLK (big U.S. tech companies) and KMLM (a “managed futures” fund that often behaves differently than stocks). - If both fell more than ~1%, it buys SOXL (a very aggressive 3× semiconductor fund) to try for a rebound. - If both rose more than ~5%, it buys UVIX (a fund that jumps when market fear/volatility spikes) to prepare for a pullback. - Otherwise, it holds whichever of XLK or KMLM has the higher 10‑day RSI. RSI is a 0–100 score of how strong recent gains are; higher means stronger recent buying. One ETF is held at a time.
CheckmarkValue prop
Rule-based rotation between XLK and KMLM with extreme bets (SOXL/UVIX). Out-of-sample results show diversification and volatility-aware exposure beyond the S&P 500, aiming for a distinct risk/return profile.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
