About
A weekly stock-picking strategy that chooses 10 women-led S&P 500 companies based on recent price movement, then spreads money more heavily toward the less volatile names.
This strategy starts with a hand-picked list of big U.S. companies led by women, such as AMD, Oracle, Clorox, General Motors, and UPS.
Each week, it looks for the 10 stocks in that list whose prices have been the most "jumpy" over roughly the past month. It then invests in those 10, but gives smaller positions to the wildest stocks and bigger positions to the steadier ones based on about the last year of price swings.
Out-of-sample edge: 27.9% annualized return vs 15.4% S&P, Sharpe 1.18 vs 0.94, Calmar ~1.10. Weekly, volatility-aware picks from 10 women-led large-caps offer stronger upside with controlled risk.
