About

A rules‑driven, volatility‑aware meta‑strategy that toggles between leveraged tech, Treasuries, volatility hedges, cash‑like T‑Bills, and managed futures (KMLM). It uses simple signals (RSI, moving averages) to switch offense/defense and diversify when stocks struggle.
NutHow it works
It watches “fear” (VIX‑based funds) and the trend in broad stocks (SPY/QQQ). If fear spikes or the trend breaks, it shifts to crash protection (VIX funds, inverse index, or T‑Bills). If the trend is healthy or tech looks washed‑out, it buys aggressive tech/semis (TQQQ/TECL/SOXL). It also rotates into Treasuries (TMF) when bond momentum is strong, or into managed futures (KMLM) for diversification. Rules use simple signals like RSI and moving averages.
CheckmarkValue prop
Dynamic, rules-based strategy that captures tech upside while hedge-protecting with volatility, Treasuries, and managed futures. Low beta (~0.66) and strong risk-adjusted out-of-sample returns (Calmar ~3.77), offering diversification with SPY upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
