About

Daily toggle: buy SPXL (3x S&P 500) when fear is cooling (VIXY below its 9-day average) or when the market is very oversold (SPY 10-day RSI < 30); otherwise sit in BIL (short-term T-Bills).
NutHow it works
Each day it picks between a risky stock bet and a safe, cash-like fund. If VIXY (a fear/volatility fund) is below its 9-day average, fear is cooling, so it buys SPXL (a 3x S&P 500 fund). Otherwise, if SPY’s 10-day RSI (a “how stretched” gauge; <30 = very oversold) is under 30, it still buys SPXL. If neither, it holds BIL (short-term T‑Bills). Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets ~38% annualized return vs ~17% for the S&P 500, with solid risk-adjusted metrics (Sharpe ~0.96, Calmar ~1.25). It seeks big upside in rallies and safety in drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
