About

Daily trend-and-heat switch. If bonds are strong, ride risk (SPXL/TQQQ/SOXL) unless fear is hot—then use UVXY/VIXM; if stocks aren’t trending, rotate to UTSL/DRN/TMF (else SSO/SPXL). If bonds are weak, buy oversold bounces or hold DWSH/UUP/SQQQ/SPXS.
NutHow it works
Rebalances daily. It checks trend (price vs 200‑day avg) and short‑term “heat” (14‑day RSI: 0–100; >70 hot, <30 cold). - If bonds (BND) trend up: when fear (VIXY) or SPY is hot, buy volatility (VIX: UVXY/VIXM). Else buy one risk‑on stock fund (3x S&P/Nasdaq/semis: SPXL/TQQQ/SOXL) with the cooler RSI; if SPY isn’t trending up, use bullish defensives (utilities/real estate/treasuries/consumer: UTSL/DRN/TMF/WANT); else SSO/SPXL. - If bonds trend down: if SPY is washed‑out, try a bounce (SPXL/TQQQ); else hold a defensive (shorts or USD: DWSH/UUP/SQQQ/SPXS).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe ~1.34 vs SPY ~1.12; Calmar ~1.63; annualized return ~113% vs ~19%; alpha ~0.75. Higher drawdowns (~69% vs ~19%), but stronger risk-adjusted upside on tested data.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
