About

A daily, rules-based switcher that hunts for strong trends but avoids short-term overheats. It rotates among SPY/QQQ, 3× SPXL/TQQQ, 3× Treasury TMF/TMV, or VIX funds, with about 10% kept in cash.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks for a volatility spike (VIX). If fear is spiking, it buys a VIX fund. If not, it looks at long‑term trends: when stocks are healthy it picks a 3× S&P 500 or 3× Nasdaq fund (the one that looks less overheated); in stock downtrends it uses regular SPY/QQQ. If bonds look weak, it trades 3× long or 3× short Treasuries, whichever is moving more. Keeps ~10% in cash.
CheckmarkValue prop
Capitalize on big trends with built-in hedges. Out-of-sample annualized return: ~46.8% vs SPY ~20.6%, plus risk controls via volatility timing and regime-switching across equities, bonds, and VIX - accepting higher leverage risk for higher upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
