About
A daily, rules-based switcher: ride tech momentum in good times, buy big dips, and quickly hedge or rotate to defensive mixes when overbought, volatile, or trending down. Uses leveraged and inverse ETFs; high risk and frequent trading.
Every day it checks simple “health gauges” on the market: trend (price vs moving averages), recent damage (drawdowns), and a hot/cold score called RSI (high = overheated, low = washed out). It then:
- Rides tech/semis with 3x ETFs in uptrends
- Buys sharp dips when washed out
- Hedges or flips to defensive sectors, bonds, dollar, or inverse ETFs when risk flashes
Note: uses 3x/inverse ETFs; high risk.
Dynamic, rules-based regime-switching strategy that leans into tech with built-in hedges. In out-of-sample testing, it aims for solid upside (about 20.7% annualized) with a lower market beta (~0.61) and diversification beyond the S&P 500.
