About

A daily, one‑position tactical strategy that rotates among Apple/Amazon/Tesla bull or bear funds, tech, staples, oil, cash, or a volatility hedge. Uses hot/cold scores and trend checks to buy dips, ride strength, or hedge. Very high risk.
NutHow it works
Each day it holds one position. First it picks a “lens” (recent winners, trend strength, low drawdown, 3‑day pop, or big movers). Then it selects one trade from Apple/Amazon/Tesla bull or bear funds, tech bull/bear, defensive staples, oil long/short, cash‑like T‑bills, or a volatility hedge. It uses hot/cold scores (0–100), simple trend vs. averages, and a bonds‑vs‑bearish‑Nasdaq check to switch offense/defense.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample underperforms the S&P: -19.7% annualized vs SPY, with larger drawdowns (~27.5% vs 5%). A risky diversification/hedge for regime-shift alpha; not a core steady-growth vehicle.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
