About

A fast, daily‑tactical plan: hedge with UVXY when stocks look overheated; buy 3× Tech on big tech dips or calming signals; otherwise pair staples with the strongest oil/staples pick in uptrends, and flip to 3× inverse Tech/Nasdaq in downtrends.
NutHow it works
Daily it checks RSI (0–100 short‑term heat) and the 200‑day trend. If QQQ or SPY are very hot (RSI>80) → buy UVXY (volatility spike). Else if tech is very cold (TQQQ RSI<31) or bonds beat short‑Nasdaq → buy TECL (3× Tech). Otherwise: if S&P 500 is above its 200‑day average → hold XLP (consumer staples) plus the strongest of DBO (oil up), SCO (oil down), or XLP; if below → hold SQQQ and TECS (3× short Nasdaq/Tech).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~61.6% annualized return, Sharpe ~1.04, Calmar ~1.18 vs S&P ~17.4% return and Sharpe ~0.99. Significantly higher upside; note drawdowns can be larger (~52% vs ~19%), for risk-tolerant investors.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
