About

If the market looks “too hot,” it flips to UVXY (aims to pop when stocks fall). Otherwise it rides the Nasdaq (QQQ): 3× (TQQQ) in uptrends, 2× (QLD) or T‑Bills (BIL) in downtrends after big up days. A tactical, very aggressive approach.
NutHow it works
Watches a 10‑day “hotness” score (RSI: 0–100; >80 = very hot) for many stock funds across the market (SPY, tech, value/growth, consumer, comms, financials). If any look too hot, it buys UVXY—a fund that often jumps when stocks drop. Otherwise it rides QQQ’s trend: if QQQ is above its 200‑day average (≈10 months), hold QQQ or 3× QQQ (TQQQ); if below, hold 2× QQQ (QLD) or T‑Bills (BIL) after unusually big up days.
CheckmarkValue prop
Leverages Nasdaq trends with a built-in UVXY hedge. When overheated, switch to long volatility; otherwise ride QQQ with leverage. Out-of-sample Sharpe ~1.50 vs S&P ~0.98; Calmar ~2.32—strong upside, but bear markets can show larger drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
