About

When Bitcoin’s trend (via BITO) is strong, put 30% into the hottest crypto stock/ETF (Coinbase, miners, MicroStrategy, or Bitcoin ETFs) based on 3‑day momentum; otherwise sit in T‑bills (BIL). Rebalances daily; risk-on/risk-off by trend filters.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks if Bitcoin (using BITO, a Bitcoin‑futures ETF) is strongly trending up: 1) today > its 20‑day average, 2) 20‑day average > 50‑day, 3) 100‑day > 300‑day. A moving average is just the smoothed price over that many days. If all pass, it puts 30% into the single best performer over the last 3 days from a crypto list (Coinbase, miners like RIOT/MARA, MicroStrategy, Bitcoin ETFs). Otherwise it holds T‑bills (BIL). Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Disciplined crypto-timing with a cash hedge: when BTC trends, 30% to the top short-term crypto proxy and the rest to BIL; else stay in cash. Out-of-sample: ~19.6%/yr, ~0.62 Sharpe, beta near 1—diversify beyond the S&P 500 with crypto upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
