About

Only buy crypto exposure when Bitcoin’s trend is up; otherwise sit in T‑bills. When “on,” put about 30% into the single hottest crypto‑linked stock/ETF (e.g., COIN, MARA, MSTR, BITO). Rebalances daily; very active and high risk during risk‑on.
NutHow it works
- It watches a popular Bitcoin ETF (BITO) as a stand‑in for Bitcoin’s trend. - Only if short-, medium-, and long‑term averages of BITO all point up does it take risk; otherwise it parks the money in T‑bills (BIL). - When trends are up, it puts about 30% into ONE crypto‑related stock/ETF—the one with the best very‑recent performance (past ~3 days). Examples it can pick: Coinbase (COIN), Bitcoin miners (MARA/RIOT/IREN), MicroStrategy (MSTR), or Bitcoin‑focused ETFs (BITO, BTF, BITQ, BITS, IBLC, MAXI). - It rechecks these rules every day and can switch quickly between cash and the chosen crypto name.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample stats show better risk-adjusted returns vs the S&P 500: cash when BTC trend is down; 30% to the top crypto proxy on confirmed uptrends, capturing upside while limiting drawdown with a disciplined, short-term momentum rule.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
