About

Daily tactical strategy that flips between long volatility (UVXY/VIXY), leveraged bulls (SOXL/TECL/UPRO/TQQQ), inverse hedges (PSQ/SQQQ), or T‑Bills (BIL) using simple heat/trend signals on SPY/QQQ and sectors, with a tech/semis tilt. High risk.
NutHow it works
Rebalanced daily. It checks a short‑term “heat” score (RSI: 0–100) on the S&P 500, Nasdaq, and sectors (esp. tech/semis). If very hot, it buys UVXY/VIXY (funds that jump when markets drop). If very cold, it buys 3× bulls (SOXL, TECL, UPRO). Otherwise it uses trend filters (price vs 200‑day average) and a bond‑vs‑stock check to choose 3× Nasdaq (TQQQ), 1×/3× inverse (PSQ/SQQQ), or T‑Bills (BIL). High risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Regime-based strategy tilting to tech/semis with volatility hedges and cash. Seeks near-S&P returns (~19.4% annualized out-of-sample) while offering diversification beyond plain equities; note higher drawdowns and lower risk-adjusted Sharpe in stress.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
