About

An income-focused portfolio that mixes stock-income funds, covered-call funds, high-dividend stocks, and corporate bonds to prioritize steady payouts over strong long-term growth.
NutHow it works
This portfolio is built to pay regular cash, not to grow as fast as the stock market. It puts 30% in JEPI/JEPQ, funds that own stocks and collect extra income by selling away some upside. Another 30% goes to QYLD/XYLD/RYLD, which do this even more aggressively. The final 40% goes to SDIV, a high-dividend stock fund, plus LQD and HYG, which hold company bonds. Every week, it resets back to its target mix.
CheckmarkValue prop
Income-focused strategy with downside protection: out-of-sample drawdown ~1.12% vs S&P ~2.03% and beta ~0.55, offering steadier cash flow even as growth trails in strong markets.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
