About
A daily “switchboard” that picks the best recent playbooks. It rides tech (often with 2x Nasdaq) in uptrends or on sharp dips, and when the market weakens or runs too hot it shifts to Treasuries, cash‑like funds, defensive sectors, or even shorts tech.
Each day it ranks several rule sets by recent return, drawdown, and volatility, then puts money in the best.
Inside those sets: a 200‑day average marks uptrend vs downtrend. RSI (0–100 heat gauge; <30 = washed‑out, >80 = too hot) times buys/sells.
Uptrend or big dip: ride tech via 2x Nasdaq (QLD) or 2x tech (ROM).
Downtrend/overheated: rotate to safety—Treasuries (TLT/SHY/SHV/BSV/BIL), defensive stocks (XLP), or short tech (QID/PSQ/SH). Some rules also compare bonds vs shorts.
Out-of-sample edge: higher risk-adjusted returns than the S&P. Annualized return ~41.7% vs ~21.7%; Sharpe ~1.32; Calmar ~1.47. Expect bigger drawdowns, but regime-switching tech tilt aims for stronger long-term growth.
