About

A rules‑based, volatility‑aware strategy that rotates among leveraged tech, Treasuries (long/short), gold/silver, commodities, the US dollar, and selective hedges. It buys strength, buys sharp dips with checks, and cuts risk fast when stress signals flash.
NutHow it works
It’s a rules‑driven “rotate and hedge” system. It watches simple gauges of trend and speed—think a 0–100 “speedometer” that flags when markets ran up too fast (overbought) or fell too fast (oversold). When tech is strong it uses boosted funds (like 3x tech/semis). If stress rises, it flips to hedges (inverse tech, long/short Treasuries) or hides in cash‑like T‑bills and gold/silver. It always picks the strongest choice from a small list.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: 32.4% annualized returns vs SPY’s 18.3%, with a volatility-aware, multi-asset rotation that dynamically hedges stress. Strong upside capture, diversified sources, and disciplined risk controls—though drawdowns can be higher in turmoil.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
