A fast-moving market-timing strategy that flips between aggressive bullish tech, bearish tech, volatility, and cash-like T-bills based on whether tech stocks look overheated, oversold, or unstable.

This strategy watches the Nasdaq tech market as a warning gauge, mainly using TQQQ (a turbocharged version of the Nasdaq 100). If tech has risen too far too fast, it buys BERZ, a fund that bets against high-growth tech. If tech has fallen hard, it may buy BULZ, a fund that makes a bigger bet on a rebound. If markets look unstable, it moves to BIL, a cash-like T-bill fund. In rare panic conditions, it can buy UVXY, which bets on market turbulence.

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
