This strategy is a fast-moving trading system that checks the market every day. First, it looks for clues about whether investors are acting fearful or aggressive by comparing safer bond funds with riskier stock funds. If conditions look favorable, it buys one aggressive area like tech, semiconductors, biotech, small caps, China, or emerging markets—often the one that has just fallen and may bounce. If conditions look bad, it switches into one bearish fund that rises when parts of the market fall. It also has several versions of itself and picks the version that has been working best lately.
