About

A daily, contrarian strategy. It uses a bond-vs-stock “temperature” check (RSI) to gauge risk, then buys recent laggards—either high-octane bull ETFs when bonds look stronger, or inverse/short ETFs when stocks look stronger.
NutHow it works
It splits your money into 5 equal parts and rebalances daily. Each part checks a short-term “hot/cold” score (RSI) for bonds (BND/AGG/SCHZ or TYD = leveraged Treasuries) versus stocks (QQQ = Nasdaq-100, URTY = 3x small-caps). If bonds look stronger, it buys the weakest recent risk-on ETF (3x tech/S&P/small-caps/biotech/China/EM/semis/internet or long Treasuries). If stocks look stronger, it buys the weakest recent “short” ETF (inverse Nasdaq/S&P, short Treasuries, REITs, gold miners, biotech).
CheckmarkValue prop
Contrarian daily rotation delivering outsized upside: ~63% annualized (OOS) vs S&P, solid Sharpe (~1.16) and Calmar 1.39. Five-slice RSI-based bets diversify risk while pursuing higher returns; note the potential for larger drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
