About

A daily, regime‑filtered mean‑reversion strategy. It compares a simple “hot/cold” score of bonds vs stocks, then buys the most beaten‑down bull or bear ETFs accordingly. Uses many 3x leveraged/inverse funds across tech, small‑caps, EM/China, and Treasuries.
NutHow it works
Each day it splits money across 5 mini‑systems. In each, it compares a simple “hot/cold” score (RSI, 0–100) for bonds vs stocks over 10–15 days. If bonds look hotter, it buys 1 recently beaten‑up bullish ETF; if stocks look hotter, it buys 2 beaten‑up bearish ETFs. Focus areas: tech, small‑caps, semis, biotech, China/EM and their inverse funds, plus Treasuries. Rebalances daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this regime-filtered mean-reversion strategy yields ~60% annualized return with positive alpha and Calmar ~1.33, offering stronger risk-adjusted upside vs. the S&P 500. Expect higher drawdowns in stressed markets due to leverage.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
