About

Daily, contrarian mean‑reversion using leveraged ETFs. Compares bond vs stock RSI to pick a side: if bonds lead, buy the weakest bull ETF; if stocks lead, buy the weakest inverse ETF. Five parallel sleeves, equal‑weighted. High risk/volatility.
NutHow it works
Every day it checks if bonds look stronger than stocks using a short‑term “heat” score (RSI: 0–100; higher = stronger recent up‑moves). If bonds > stocks, it buys 1 beaten‑down, high‑octane bull ETF for a bounce. If stocks > bonds, it buys 1–2 beaten‑down inverse ETFs (rise when markets fall) for a pullback. It runs five variants of this test (BND/AGG/SCHZ vs QQQ/URTY) and splits money across them. Uses 2x–3x funds; very volatile.
CheckmarkValue prop
Five-sleeve contrarian ETF strategy uses cross-asset RSI mean-reversion to beat the S&P on risk-adjusted terms. Out-of-sample: ~63% annualized return vs 21% (SPY), Sharpe ~1.16, Calmar ~1.39. Note higher drawdowns may occur.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
