About

A daily ‘trend switchboard’ that leans into high‑octane stock funds when markets trend up and shifts to whichever safe havens (or cash) are winning when risk rises. It uses multiple simple signals (trend, leadership, volatility) and backs the versions working best.
NutHow it works
Daily, it checks simple “go/stop” gauges: trend (is price above its usual range?), who’s leading (tech vs utilities, lumber vs gold), bonds vs cash, and a heat gauge (RSI) for volatility. If green, it buys the fastest-rising big index funds (often 3x S&P/Nasdaq). If red, it rotates into the strongest mix of Treasuries, gold, USD, utilities, commodities, or T‑Bills. It runs several lookbacks and favors what’s worked best lately.
CheckmarkValue prop
Risk-aware trend-switching strategy: rides uptrends with levered equity leaders, shifts to safe havens in risk-off. OOS return 37.45% vs SPY 25.17%; Calmar 1.27. Higher drawdown (~29% vs ~19%), but better upside capture and robust risk controls.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
