About

A rules-based trend strategy that dials up leveraged stock exposure when trends are strong and shifts to Treasuries or cash when they’re weak, with occasional gold, oil/commodities, and US dollar positions. Signals use price trends, RSI, and sector leadership.
NutHow it works
This is a rules-driven, trend mix. It checks simple signals—price vs moving averages, a 0–100 heat meter (RSI), and leaders like Tech vs Utilities. If “risk looks healthy,” it leans into fast stock funds (often 2x/3x). If not, it shifts to Treasuries or cash, and sometimes gold, oil/commodities, or the US dollar. Some parts pick recent top performers from a small list. Key funds: TQQQ/QLD (2–3x Nasdaq), SPXL/UPRO (3x/3x S&P), TLT/IEF/TMF (Treasuries), GLD/UGL (gold), DBC/DBO (commodities/oil), UUP (dollar), XLE/XLP/XLU/XLK (sectors).
CheckmarkValue prop
Disciplined trend-based mix across stocks, bonds and commodities. Out-of-sample drawdowns are lower (12% vs ~19% for the S&P) with solid risk-adjusted returns, delivering resilience and diversification during market shocks.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
