About
A daily, rule-based “voting machine” across QQQ/SPY/semis that rotates between 3x bull ETFs in strong uptrends and inverse/bonds in weak markets, using trend, momentum, RSI, dip-buys, and volatility signals.
Each day, three mini-systems vote: Nasdaq-100 (QQQ), S&P 500 (SPY), and Semiconductors (SMH). If the trend is up and swings are calm, it uses 3x funds (TQQQ, SPXL, SOXL). If trends weaken, it steps down to the normal ETFs, to inverse funds (PSQ, SH, SSG), or to short‑term bonds (BSV). Votes use simple rules: price vs its recent average (trend), recent gains/losses (momentum), a 0–100 “hot/cold” score (RSI), size of recent drops (“buy the dip”), and volatility. Rebalances daily.
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe ~2.60 vs SPY ~2.37; Calmar ~8.05; annualized return ~151% vs ~28%. A diversified trend-following rotation across QQQ/SPY/SMH with hedges targets stronger risk-adjusted growth, though drawdowns can spike.
