About

Switches between a fear spike hedge (UVXY) when markets look overheated, a tech rebound bet (TQQQ) when oversold, and a defensive mix of gold, short Treasuries, and the U.S. dollar when neither extreme is present.
NutHow it works
Looks at a 10‑day price “speedometer” (RSI, 0–100): high=overheated, low=washed‑out. - If a 3x tech fund (TQQQ) is very hot (>79), buy UVXY (jumps when market fear spikes). - Else if a 3x S&P fund (SPXL) is very hot (>80), buy UVXY. - Else if Nasdaq QQQ is very cold (<31), buy TQQQ (3x rebound bet). - Otherwise hold equal GLD (gold), SHY (short Treasuries), UUP (U.S. dollar). Note: UVXY and TQQQ are very volatile.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: 41.7% annualized return vs 22.5% for the S&P. Calmar ~1.79 signals strong risk-adjusted gains; hedges add resilience during shocks. Higher drawdowns, but far higher upside—potentially superior long-run growth to the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
