About
Daily “pop bot” that first checks if tech is leading staples. It uses TQQQ’s heat (RSI) and outsized 1-day pops to fade strength with volatility/short-tech, buy oversold tech/long bonds, or sit in T-Bills—shifting safer when the regime looks risky.
It asks: is tech (XLK) beating staples (XLP)? If yes, risk-on; if not, danger mode.
It uses TQQQ (a triple-speed Nasdaq fund), an RSI heat score (0–100), and any 1-day jump >5.5% to spot extremes. After big pops it leans into fear or short-tech (UVXY/VIXM or TECS). When washed-out it buys beaten-down tech/semis or long bonds (TECL/SOXL/TMF). Otherwise it parks in T-Bills (BIL). In danger mode it favors short-vol (SVXY) and bonds, with more cash.
Out-of-sample, a low-beta, drawdown-controlled strategy: 16.4% max DD vs SPY 18.8%, Calmar ~1.29, strong risk-adjusted profile. Diversifies and stays resilient in tech regimes with competitive upside vs the S&P.
