About
A daily swing‑trader that buys volatility into likely stock pullbacks, shorts it in calm periods, or rotates between tech (TQQQ), Treasuries (TMF/TMV), USD (UUP) and cash‑like T‑bills, using simple overbought/oversold signals and bond trends.
Each day it reads simple “heat” gauges (RSI = 0–100 speed of recent moves). If the S&P 500 looks very hot (RSI>72), it buys volatility funds (UVXY/UVIX/VIXM) that usually jump when stocks drop. If bonds look steadier than cash, it shorts volatility (SVXY). Otherwise it uses bond trends to hold either tech + long Treasuries (TQQQ/TMF) or a defensive mix (USD = UUP, short long‑bonds = TMV), with cash‑like BIL/SHY as safety. Uses risk‑based sizing; very aggressive.
Out-of-sample annualized return ~23.1% vs S&P 500 ~21.7%, with beta ~0.52 (lower market sensitivity) and a Calmar ~0.70—risk-adjusted upside with diversified exposure to volatility, bonds, and macro signals, offering resilience and hedged equity risk.
